Alcohol is not really a food. It is worse than unhealthy, it actually harms the body. With that said, there will be regulation on who can acquire and consume alcohol. This will be set at age 18 when the person becomes a legal adult. With exception of religious reasons, children will not be allowed to consume alcohol. With that being said, alcohol will also be taxed as a luxury tax item. This will mean that the purchaser will have to pay the highest tax bracket in order to buy alcohol. This might discourage some people from regularly buying alcohol which is the intent of the Agriculture Ministry.
