Where possible, there will be food banks that would be managed by the Agriculture Ministry. The rationale of this is to help people who might need a little more help. Food Plus stores will donate items that are about to expire to the food bank, and that food bank will be able to provide those in need. The food bank can be run by local charities, or churches as long as they don’t discriminate. If the person needs access to food banks, they can call National Charity Services by dialing 211. Most if not all people in the nation will have a phone line since it is considered as an essential resource.
Food banks will offer meats, breads, and pastas. They will also have boxed, and can goods. The person must have a means of returning to their home with the food. The food bank does not provide transportation. With that in mind, many food banks will try to be close to public transit to cater to the needs of the person. In addition, some food banks will also offer soup kitchens which will help people who do not have access to refrigerators (such as the homeless).
