Farms

There will be a number of farms that would be in the nation. The goal of the farms is to provide food for the populace without the need to import the food from other countries. Simply put, importing will cost more money, and therefore be harder on the buyer by having a higher price tag. With that said, the farms are going to focus on essentials. Also, depending on where this country would actually be in the world will depend on what kind of crops that can be grown.

There will also be dairy farms. Dairy will include milk, cheese, and creams. With that said, there will be dairy cows that would provide for the milk that is needed to supply for the food production, and consumption. Not much more can be said about these farms with the exception that the vast majority will be cows since they can produce more milk for the animal. The only other milk I heard about will be goat milk, and I truly doubt that a goat will be able to produce as much milk as a cow.

Last, there will be meat farms. These farms will have cows (beef), pigs (pork), and flocks (chicken, and turkeys). Some farms might also produce meats from goats, and rabbits. However, raising a meat farm is labor intensive, expensive, and demanding. With that in mind, there will be research for lab grown meat. If there was a process where lab grown meat can be produced in the same pricing as regular meat, then this could free up demands, and land for other resources. Just a handful of meat animals will be needed to collect stem cells for the production of meat grown from the lab. This will be more humane, and more sustainable.
